The Spring Festival((12th,Feb,2021) refers to the traditional Chinese New Year in the cultural circle of Chinese characters. It is commonly known as “New Year’s Festival”. It is the most solemn tradition of the Chinese nation festival.

The Spring Festival originated from the sacrifice to gods and ancestors at the beginning and end of the Yin and Shang dynasties. It is the grandest, most lively and most important ancient traditional festival in China. In Chinese folks, the Spring Festival in the traditional sense refers to the offerings from the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month or the stove for the twenty-third or twenty-fourth lunar month, until the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, with the climax of New Year’s Eve and the first day of the first lunar month.

During the Spring Festival, China’s Han and ethnic minorities hold various activities to celebrate. These activities all focus on offering sacrifices to ancestors, worshipping ancestors, removing the old and clothing the new, welcoming the jubilee, and praying for good harvest. The Spring Festival activities are rich and colorful, with strong national characteristics. Under the influence of Chinese culture, some countries and nations belonging to the Chinese character culture circle also have the custom of celebrating the Spring Festival.
